iRiS, the Island family.

The newest family and the one moving fastest. One shape on a screen edge answers what is happening and becomes whatever you open. Every part of it has a command, so you can bind it or script it.

Any edge

Put the Island on the top, bottom, left or right. On a side it stands up with a stacked clock. The Dock sits opposite, and sending one to the other's edge makes them trade places.

Click an edge of the screen to move it there.

Dark, Ink and Light

Ink is washi and sumi, softer than white. The scheme is the system's mode, so GTK, Qt, terminals and VS Code switch with the shell, and widgets turn to dark ink where the wallpaper under them is bright.

Customize on the shell
Click the Island, the Dock or a bubble and its options grow out of it. Studio keeps every area in one panel if you prefer.

Menu bar
A thin strip with your workspaces, the window and your pieces. The Island hangs from it as a notch.
A Control Center you arrange
Every quick toggle, the player and each slider as cells you drag, resize and add from a library.
A lock screen you rehearse
The real lock opens editable with nothing to unlock. Move the clock, the player and the sign-in field, and put a video behind them.
Orbit
Your session from the Island: the workspace you are on as a strip of its windows, its neighbours above and below. Off until you turn it on.

Colours from your wallpaper.

Change the wallpaper and the shell takes its colours, then hands them to everything else. Pick one here and this part of the page does the same.
